A great way to enjoy spaghetti without the gluten!

Plus squash is a great in season veggie.

Ingredients:

  • 1 – spaghetti squash
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • Sea salt
  • 1 lb ground extra lean Turkey
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced onion
  • 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce (no sugar added)

Directions:

  1. Cut squash in 1/2 remove seeds and strings
  2. Drizzle with avocado oil – turn over on baking sheet flat side down. Make 30-40 min at 400 degrees
  3. In saucepan add ground Turkey, garlic, minced onion, Italian seasoning. Brown and add sauce and simmer until squash is ready  
  4. Shred squash in shell and add sauce and dairy free cheese. Bake additional 10 min

Makes 4 servings.
